Embodiment Construction

[0032] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing and specific embodiment the present invention is described in further detail:

[0033] see figure 1 , the present invention is a method for detecting the welding quality of a certain engine fuel manifold brazing position by using the above-mentioned ultrasonic detection method. According to the parts to be inspected, the above-mentioned method is used to perform ultrasonic wall thickness detection for example. The specific invention includes the following steps:

[0034] 1) Connect the ultrasonic detector 1, the probe 7 and the water spray device; the ultrasonic detector 1 adopts a high-frequency, high-resolution ultrasonic detector model NOVASCOPE 5000. Probe 7 is a point-focused probe with a model number of E11877 and a frequency of 25 MHz. The probe 7 is connected to the ultrasonic detector 1 through the coaxial cable connection 2; the water spray device includes a water pump 4 and a conical water jacket 8 set on the p...

Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for ultrasonic testing of engine fuel oil header pipe soldered joints. The method is capable of effectively finding out the soldering defects in the fuel oil header pipe soldered joints and can be used for the ultrasonic testing of aerial engine fuel oil header pipe soldered joints. As the fuel oil header pipe soldered parts are complicated in shape and large in testing surface curvature (the pipe diameter is 6-16mm), so that when a conventional probe and a conventional coupling manner are used, the sound waves are difficult to be transmitted to the soldered parts due to the influence of the probe size and then testing cannot be carried out. According to the device and the method, a high-frequency high-resolution instrument and a high-frequency high-damp probe are used and a conical water jacket spray coupling manner is used, so that the ultrasonic waves emitted by the probe can be effectively converged to the surfaces of the pipes and irradiate into the soldered parts; therefore, if the soldered parts have defects, the defect signals can be easily recognized through observing the waveforms.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of aero-engines, and in particular relates to an ultrasonic detection device and method for a brazed joint of an engine fuel main pipe. Background technique [0002] The fuel main pipe is the core component of the engine. Each fuel sub-pipe is assembled into the main pipe by brazing. The welding quality of the brazing part seriously affects the quality of the engine. Therefore, the non-destructive testing technology for the brazing parts is particularly important. [0003] The fuel branch pipe and fuel main pipe are stipulated in the design drawing to use X-ray to detect the quality of brazed joints. However, the method of ray detection is unreliable for the following reasons: [0004] 1) Poor combination of small gap welds. At present, the smallest detail size that can be identified by radiographic inspection is 0.1mm. Gaps smaller than this size are difficult to find even with radiographic inspection. ...
