According to the rat-proof PE material disclosed by the invention, the content of the n-vanillylnonanamide is effectively controlled within the minimal effective rat-repelling dosage range, and reasonable production cost is controlled, and therefore, the rat-proof PE material can be widely applied to producing various electric wires and cables, and large-popularization and promotion for rat-proof electric wires and cables becomes possible.
