The indoor relative position determining system comprises a plurality of EBPs (ESSID broadcast points), a plurality of mobile terminals supporting the 802.11 series protocols and a background data processing center. The EBPs are distributed indoors to form an 802.11 microcellular network, each EBP covers a specific region, and ESSID information preset by the EBPs is broadcasted continuously.
