Abstract

The borescope comprises an inner tube, an outer tube, a lens and cold light sources, wherein the lens is arranged at the front end of the borescope; the cold light sources are arranged between the outer tube and the inner tube which are arranged at the front end of the lens; the borescope also comprises a heat light source which is arranged in a gap between the cold light sources. The borescope and the inspection method, disclosed by the invention, use the characteristic that most energy is converted into heat energy to be given off during shining of the heat light source and use the heat light source to heat the front end of the lens of the borescope so as to reduce the temperature difference between the lens and an inspection cavity and play a role of fogging resistance. The borescope disclosed by the invention integrates the heat light source in the range of the original layout of the cold light sources without preseting a parking space for a heating device which is arranged newly, so that the size of the front end of the whole borescope keeps unchanged so as to avoid the phenomenon that the size of the front end of the borescope is enlarged caused by the fact that the heating device is further arranged.
