Abstract
The invention relates to improvement of a probe of a streaming potential online measuring instrument and in particular relates to a novel design of a water inlet and a water outlet of a probe as improvement of a streaming potential online measuring instrument. The probe comprises a probe water inlet, a probe water outlet and a measuring chamber, wherein sand grains are sent into the probe along with sampling water from the probe water inlet to move in a parabolic manner; in the design of a registered streaming potential online measuring instrument, the water inlet and the water outlet of the probe are arranged on the same horizontal line; the fed sand grains are incapable of being discharged out of the outlet and enter the measuring chamber of the instrument, thus measuring signals are seriously interfered; according to the design, the horizontal line of the probe water outlet is lower than the horizontal line of the probe water inlet by a certain distance, so that the sand grains moving in the probe in the parabolic manner can be discharged out of the probe water outlet to ensure that the sand grains are incapable of entering the measuring chamber of the instrument, thereby ensuring accuracy and stability of the measuring signals of the instrument.
