Abstract

The plasma air purifier comprises an air inlet, a filter screen mounted in the air inlet and an air outlet and further comprises a plasma reactor arranged behind the air inlet, as well as a water treatment device, an anion generator and an outlet filter system which are parallelly mounted behind the plasma reactor, wherein the plasma reactor comprises a plurality of reaction basic units; each reaction basic unit is provided with a reaction zone, the reaction zone comprises a plurality of parallelly arranged platy polar plates and linear polar plates arranged between every two adjacent platy polar plates, and the quantity of the linear polar plates corresponds to that of the platy polar plates. The invention also discloses an air purification method adopting the air purifier. According to the invention, electrostatic precipitation is adopted to remove PM2.5, and meanwhile, plasma and a catalyst are subject to synergistic reaction to remove VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).
