Abstract

The invention discloses a dynamic weighted event processing system and method. The system comprises an event collector, event analyzers, event processing buffers and an event sending manager. The event collector acquires events to be processed from event sources; the event analyzers process the collected events; the event processing buffers cache the events to be sent which are processed by the corresponding event analyzers, receive the events sent by the event analyzers, and send the events to be sent which are required by a request of the event sending manager; the event sending manager prepares the events which need sending from all the event processing buffers according to weight acquiring and sending events, and dynamically regulates weights of all the event processing buffers to guarantee that delays of the events in all the event processing buffers are approximate; after acquiring the events from all the event processing buffers, the event sending manager caches the events in an event sending buffer so that the events can be sent together in an event sending channel. By means of the dynamic weighted event processing system and method, when event information of multiple event sources is processed concurrently, event processing delays of all the event sources can be approximate as much as possible at the same time.
