The transparent glass comprises the following main components by weight: 55-68% of SiO2, 0.01-0.05% of Fe2O3, 0.5-6% of B2O3, 0.5-3% of Al2O3, 3-8% of CaO, 0-5% of ZnO, 9-18% of Na2O, 2-10% of K2O, 1-10% of BaO, and 0-1% of Li2O. According to the invention, a technology of electric melting by a kiln is adopted, so that the melting temperature is lowered effectively, the energy consumption is reduced, and the quality of the transparent glass is improved.
