Embodiment Construction

[0019] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0020] The present invention includes a pressure vessel 1 , an outer wall 3 , an inner wall 9 , a reactor core melt retention device 5 , and a core melt cooling device 6 .

[0021] The inner wall 9 is closed around and open up and down, and the inner side of the inner wall 9 is poured with concrete to fix the steam channel wall 10 with the bottom opening. The pressure vessel 1 is supported by pipes in the vapor channel wall 10 . A steam rising channel 8 is formed between the pressure vessel 1 and the steam channel wall 10 .

[0022] The core melt retention device 5 is fixed on the bottom of the inner wall 9 by pouring concrete. A coolant channel 4 is provided between the inner wall 9 and the core melt retention device 5 . The core melt retention device 5 is composed of inorganic non-metallic refractory materials that can withstand the upper...

Abstract

The invention relates to a V-shaped reactor external melt retention device used after a nuclear power plant accident. The V-shaped reactor external melt retention device comprises an inner wall, a steam channel wall fixed at an opening in the bottom of the inner side of the inner wall, a pressure container arranged in the steam channel wall, an outer wall surrounding the inner wall, a reactor core melt retention device fixed at the bottom of the inner wall and a reactor core melt cooling device which is in tight contact with the bottom of the reactor core melt retention device, wherein a coolant descending channel is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall; a coolant channel is formed between the inner wall and the reactor core melt retention device; a reactor core melt retention groove is formed in the upper surface of the reactor core melt retention device under the pressure container; the lower surface of the reactor core melt retention device is a plane; the reactor core melt retention device is made of an inorganic non-metal fireproof material. By adopting a melt retention design outside a reactor, melts are accommodated by different materials and are cooled by a coolant loop and the reactor core melt cooling device, and therefore, the safety of a nuclear power plant.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for retaining melted matter outside a nuclear power plant after an accident, in particular to a device for retaining molten matter outside a nuclear power plant after an accident by adopting a completely passive cooling design for molten matter in the core to improve the safety of the nuclear power plant. Background technique [0002] Molten retention technology is an important mitigation measure for nuclear power to deal with severe accidents, which can effectively solve the radioactive release and maintain the integrity of the safety boundary. At present, the third-generation nuclear power plants have adopted severe accident mitigation measures after the pressure vessel is damaged. [0003] AP-1000 adopts passive measures for preventing and mitigating severe accidents, mainly including setting up molten core retention facilities (IVR). The space between the outer wall of the vessel and the heat insulation layer of t...
