Problems solved by technology

[0007] Disadvantages of using elastomer particles are often the silicone oil content present in the silicone elastomer particles and the high costs associated with production and the limited range of formulations where silicone oils are undesirable in certain cosmetic formulations , and in the event of escape can adversely affect the stability of compositions and formulations

Embodiment 1

[0091] Example 1: Polysiloxane Methacrylate Particles

[0092] 588.5 g of dipotassium hydrogen phosphate was dissolved in 550 g of deionized water. Mix 2600g of deionized water and 115g of Ludox SM mixed and adjusted to pH=7. With stirring, 1100 g of polysiloxane methacrylate (described in patent document DE 3810140) are added and the mixture is pre-emulsified for a few minutes. Then, under stirring, add 27.5 g of 5% strength VARISOFT PATC in water, and the mixture was pre-emulsified again for a few minutes. The mixture produced in this way was then homogenized at 300 bar using a homogenizer of the Microfluidizer type from Microfludics with an interaction chamber with a diameter of 200 μm.

[0093] For polymerization, the emulsion was placed in a round-bottomed flask and heated to 80°C with stirring, purging with nitrogen. First, 153 g of ammonium peroxodisulfate dissolved in 500 g of deionized water were added, followed by 93.87 g of a 38% strength sodium bisulfite sol...

Abstract

The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions containing silicone methacrylate particles as solid particles, which can be obtained by the steps a) producing an emulsion from water and an organic phase, wherein the organic phase contains especially organopolysiloxanes, which are modified at the ends and / or sides with methacrylate groups, or the mixtures thereof by adding at least one emulsifier and, optionally, one or more co-emulsifiers, the organic phase forming the inner phase of the emulsion; and polymerizing the inner phase in the presence of a radical starter which is added to the outer phase (aqueous phase) in a concentration of 0.1 to 40% by weight in relation to the inner phase. The invention also relates to corresponding cosmetic compositions.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising solid particles, characterized in that the solid particles used are polysiloxane methacrylate particles, which can be obtained as follows: step a) adding at least one emulsifier and optionally one or more co-emulsifiers to produce emulsions of aqueous and organic phases comprising specific organopolysiloxanes or mixtures thereof modified with methacrylate groups at terminal and / or lateral positions , wherein the organic phase forms the internal phase of the emulsion, and the internal phase is completely polymerized in the presence of a radical initiator added to the external phase (aqueous phase) at a concentration of 0.1-40% by weight based on the internal phase. Background technique [0002] It is known to use hydrophobic or hydrophobized particles or silicone resin particles in cosmetics, especially in make-up, formulations, to improve the durability of make-up on the skin. For this...
