[0069] Several aqueous microcapsule suspensions containing acetochlor, as described herein, were tested for selectivity to cereals in pre-emergence herbicide spray applications in the greenhouse. Treatments were applied with a track sprayer manufactured by Allen Machine Works (Midland, MI). The sprayer delivered 187 liters per hectare (L / Ha) with an 8002E nozzle, a spray pressure of 262 kilopascal (kPa) pressure, and a velocity of 2.2 miles per hour (mph) (3.54 kilometers per hour (kph)).
