Problems solved by technology

[0006] 1) In the existing wired data center network, it is easy to suffer from network congestion and link transmission failure directly using multicast mode for propagation, and it is difficult to realize the state of multicast group
[0007] 2) If the existing research on multicast mechanism in other types of wireless networks is directly introduced into the wireless data center network, it cannot guarantee that all multicast nodes can receive all valid data, and the traditional direct use of wireless broadcast The way to realize wireless multicast cannot realize multi-hop propagation
[0010] 2) The difference in wireless channels makes the packet loss rate of data received by different receiving nodes different, which may make the performance of wireless multicast limited by the worst channel
[0011] 3) Existing wireless protocols support a variety of different transmission rates. Different transmission rates correspond to different transmission ranges. When the transmission rate is high, the transmission range may be relatively small. On the contrary, when the transmission rate is small, the transmission range may be relatively large

Embodiment Construction

[0038] The implementation of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the drawings and examples.

[0039] The wireless multicast method of the data center of the present invention is to add an omnidirectional antenna on the top router of the data center network rack, so that the multicast data between the racks is transmitted through the wireless channel, and the multicast data between the servers inside the rack The transmission is carried out through the original wired link, and the hardware structure is as follows: figure 1 shown.

[0040] The overall process of data transmission is as follows: figure 2 Shown:

[0041] Step (1): source server w s Send the multicast data to the rack top server s connected to it through a wired link through a wired method;

[0042] Step (2): Determine the destination top-level router set G={g to be multicasted according to the group members formed by the multicast 1 , g 2 ,...};

Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless multicast method of a data center. All-directional antennas are added on top routers of data center network frames; multicast data between the frames are transmitted through wireless channels; and multicast data transmission between inner servers in the frames are transmitted through existing wired links. With the advantage of one to multiple transmission of wireless networks, the multicast data between frames can be transmitted through wireless mode; characteristics of gathering devices of the data center network are adequately employed to solve the problem of insufficient covering area of wireless networks; all frame top routers expected to receive multicast data can be guaranteed to receive data, so that channel utilization is improved, wireless multicast properties are improved, and the wireless multicast properties are no longer limited by a worst channel; and adaptive forward frame routers and corresponding data rate are selected to forward data with a trade-off between transmission rate and transmission arrange, so that the wireless multicast properties are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of network architecture, and in particular relates to a wireless multicast method of a data center. Background technique [0002] As more and more applications are integrated into cloud computing, the data center plays an increasingly important role. Applications involving one-to-many multicast mode are quite common in current data center networks. For example, distributed file systems such as Google, HDFS in Hadoop, and Microsoft's COSMOS will generate a large number of one-to-many information transfers. Online web search also involves a lot of information passing between groups when it needs to relocate the search queue to the index server node. Although the development of network-level multicast has many obstacles in the past few decades, and there are some open problems such as congestion control, price model and security, the recent successful application of IP multicast in IPTV and the integration of...
