Problems solved by technology

[0007] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is: the metadata access to the cloud storage system is centrally managed by the cloud storage server, the metadata server is likely to become a performance bottleneck, and the large access delay of the wide area network and a large number of online users will lead to metadata access response Combining the characteristics of high metadata access frequency but small single communication volume, a metadata access method based on cloud storage client is proposed

Embodiment Construction

[0049] figure 1 It is a structural diagram of the cloud storage system. The cloud storage system consists of a metadata server (MDS for short), multiple cloud storage servers (ST for short) and multiple cloud storage client nodes (CN for short) interconnected through a network. Metadata servers and cloud storage servers are usually deployed in data centers and are deployed and maintained by cloud storage service providers, collectively referred to as cloud storage servers. The cloud storage server provides cloud storage client nodes with file access services such as data reading and writing and data storage through predefined interfaces.

Abstract

The invention discloses a low-latency metadata access method of a cloud storage client, aiming to solve the problems of slow metadata access response and the like during metadata access. The technical proposal is as follows: a metadata access module composed of a metadata definition module, a metadata importing module, a metadata request response module and a metadata uploading module is mounted on the cloud storage client node; the metadata definition module determines the content and the format of the used metadata; the metadata importing module imports a metadata file into a key value pair database from the cloud storage server; the metadata request response module performs metadata operation according to a metadata access command; and the metadata uploading module uploads a local metadata file to the cloud storage server. Due to the adoption of the low-latency metadata access method provided by the invention, the network transmission latency of metadata access can be eliminated, the metadata server can be prevented from becoming performance bottleneck, the condition that the same cloud storage client node can access heteroid cloud storage systems is supported and the security of the metadata is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for accessing metadata of a cloud storage client. Background technique [0002] The cloud storage system is an important part of the cloud computing system, and the cloud storage system is a distributed storage structure. Such as figure 1 As shown, the cloud storage system is composed of a metadata server (referred to as MDS), multiple cloud storage servers (referred to as YS) and multiple cloud storage client nodes (referred to as YC) through an interconnection communication network. Metadata servers and cloud storage servers are usually deployed in data centers and are deployed and maintained by cloud storage service providers, collectively referred to as cloud storage servers. The cloud storage server provides cloud storage client nodes with data storage services such as metadata access and file content access through predefined interfaces. The metadata server provides metadata access services for cloud storage c...
