The three-dimensional block geological body is a closed body defined by a triangulation net surface; and the media in the closed body have the same or similar geological attributes. The invention provides a method for constructing a magnetotelluric complex three-dimensional geologic block; and the magnetotelluric complex three-dimensional geologic block is discretized into a network model which can be used directly by a magnetotelluric positive and negative algorithm by using a scanning line technology on the basis of a block model. By the method, an arbitrarily complex geological structure model including various complex structures such as sandwich, positive and reversed fault, feather edge, lens body and intrusive body, can be modeled, so that the method has high practicability.
