Abstract

The invention discloses an agricultural insecticidal composition and an insecticidal pesticide. The agricultural insecticidal composition comprises thiamethoxam and cyfluthrin compound with the weight ratio being 1:80-80:1 and preferably the weight ratio is 1:50-50:1. The cyfluthrin compound is high-effect cyfluthrin or cyfluthrin. The composition is taken as the active ingredient and the insecticidal pesticide in the form of wettable powder, suspending agent and water dispersible granule can be prepared by combining the active ingredient and the auxiliary ingredients which are acceptable in pesticide. The insecticidal pesticide has high insecticidal activity for piercing-sucking insect pests of aphid, plant hopper, leafhopper, whitefly and the like and lepidoptera insect pests of cabbage caterpillar, oriental tobacco budworm and the like. The insecticidal pesticide has obvious synergistic effects and is safe to human beings and livestocks. The aims of postponing drug resistance, lowering cost and enlarging insecticidal spectrum can be achieved by virtue of the insecticidal pesticide.
