Abstract

The invention provides an integrated multi-picture digital video monitoring method and system. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, receiving one or more digital television signals with the same or different forms; decoding video and audio programs in a plurality of the digital television signals; carrying out comprehensive transmission flow analysis on the digital television signals and verifying whether a transmission flow accords with a suitable standard or not; then, displaying the content of a plurality of decoded videos, and an electric level and an audio volume of an audio sound track corresponding to each video on one or more computer displays or televisions; and displaying analyzed and verified results to a user through operating application programs on the same monitoring system or on different computers connected with the monitoring system through an IP(Internet Protocol) network. The integrated multi-picture digital video monitoring method and system disclosed by the invention have the advantages that only one system needs to be purchased, and multi-picture display, audio volume monitoring and transmission flow analysis functions can be finished; and a great amount of investment capital and a rack space can be saved.
