The invention relates to an intelligent multichannel fiber bragg grating (FBG) online backup system, which comprises an upper computer, an FBG signal processor host, an FBG signal processor standby machine, a hot spare switch module and a sensor module, wherein the sensor module is connected with the hot spare switch module through a transmission cable, the hot spare switch module is connected with the FBG signal processor host and the FBG signal processor standby machine through optical cables, the FBG signal processor host and the FBG signal processor standby machine are respectively connected with the upper computer so as to transmit a demodulation signal, and the hot spare switch module is connected with and controlled by the upper computer. The intelligent multichannel FBG online backup system adopts two sets of system hot engine backup and can realize automatic intelligent switch, thus being convenient for use and having high reliability.
