Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a chlorotrifluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer. The method comprises the following steps of: adding 0.1 to 0.3 weight part of 10 to 15 mass percent aqueous solution of surfactant and 0.05 to 2 weight parts of ammonium persulfate initiator into 50 to 80 weight parts of deoxidized deionized water, fully dissolving, mixing uniformly, and performing polymerization reaction under certain conditions. The surfactant consisting of a fluorine surfactant and a non-fluorine surfactant is used as an emulsifying agent, wherein the fluorine surfactant contains a part of hydrocarbon chain and has the advantages of high activity, low consumption, degradability and the like. Because chlorofluorocarbon or perfluoroalkyl acid and salt thereof are not used, the defect that the conventional solvent or emulsifying agent has serious harm to human body and environment is overcome. The method is short in reaction time and high in yield, and the obtained copolymer has excellent performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a preparation method of chlorotrifluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer. Background technique [0002] Chlorotrifluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer (F30) is an alternating copolymer synthesized from chlorotrifluoroethylene and ethylene, which has good mechanical properties, excellent weather resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and extremely low permeability. F30 is often used as a high-end product in environments where other materials cannot be used. Its safe use temperature is -100~150°C, and it can be used as anti-ultraviolet paint and coating in the construction industry. F30 is one of the polymers with the best chemical resistance known so far. So far, no solvent can dissolve it or cause stress cracking below 120°C. It has irreplaceable performance in the field of heavy anticorrosion and is often used as Chemical anti-corrosion coatings, sealants and gaskets for important components in petroleum, automobile and aviation i...
