Abstract

The invention discloses a method for analyzing GC / MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrography) finger-print of composition in essential oil of angelica dahurica, which comprises the following steps of: (1) extracting the essential oil; (2) performing GC / MS analysis of the chemical composition in the essential oil of the angelica dahurica; (3) confirming a GC / MS total ion current profile of the essential oil and quantifying relative content of the composition by employing a peak area normalization method; (4) establishing the finger-print; and (5) methodologically inspecting the finger-print. According to the method disclosed by the invention, an optimal extraction method for the essential oil of the angelica dahurica is definitely determined, the gas chromatography condition and the mass spectrography condition are optimized and selected, and the GC / MS finger-print of the essential oil of the angelica dahurica is established, so that the chemical compositions and the proportions thereof in the primary volatile elements of the angelica dahurica are reflected and the quality of the essential oil of the angelica dahurica is effectively represented; and the GC / MS finger-print of the essential oil of the angelica dahurica established by the method provided by the invention also has good reproducibility and reliability, so that a reliable way is provided for quality control and production place identification of the essential oil of the angelica dahurica.
