Abstract

The invention discloses a degradable pressure-sensitive adhesive and a preparation method thereof. The degradable pressure-sensitive adhesive is prepared from the following components in part by weight: 90 to 140 parts of polyvinyl alcohol resin, 30 to 60 parts of 2-ethyl benzofuran, 12 to 18 parts of magnesium oxide, 16 to 20 parts of glycerol, 5 to 8 parts of stearic acid, 20 to 30 parts of filler and 160 to 500 parts of acetone. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: adding the polyvinyl alcohol resin, the 2-ethyl benzofuran and the stearic acid into the acetone at the temperature of between 50 and 90 DEG C and dissolving completely; adding the glycerol, the magnesium oxide and the filler; and mixing uniformly to obtain the degradable pressure-sensitive adhesive. The main component of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is the polyvinyl alcohol resin which can be biodegraded completely; the 2-ethyl benzofuran can enhance the viscosity of the polyvinyl alcohol resin; and in the presence of the magnesium oxide, the viscosity of the polyvinyl alcohol resin can be enhanced and biodegradation of the viscosity of the polyvinyl alcohol resin can be promoted. The pressure-sensitive adhesive maintains the viscosity, overcomes the defects in the aspect of environmental protection and is a degradable pressure-sensitive adhesive.
