Abstract

The invention provides application of pseudojujubogenin to preparation of medicaments for resisting senile dementia. The pseudojujubogenin is shown as a structural formula. Through research on influence of the pseudojujubogenin on mouse memory acquisition impairment caused by scopolamine, the memory acquisition impairment can be improved when the pseudojujubogenin is orally taken by a mouse in ratios of 150 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg, and 15 mg/kg; a mouse suffering from focal cerebral ischemic-reperfusion injury can be protected when the pseudojujubogenin is taken by the mouse in ratios of 35 mg/kg, 15mg/kg, and 5 mg/kg; and memory impairment of APP/PS1 double transgenic mice can be obviously improved when the pseudojujubogenin is taken by the mouse in ratios of 50 mg/kg and 15mg/kg.
