Abstract
The invention discloses a gasoline additive, in particular methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl diluent. The diluent is characterized by comprising the following materials in percentage by weight: 60 to 65 percent of methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl, 15 to 23 percent of solvent, 0.5 to 5 percent of antioxidant, 1 to 10 percent of light stabilizer, 1 to 5 percent of dispersing agent and 0.5 to 2 percent of metallic corrosion inhibitor, wherein the solvent is at least one of toluene and xylene; the antioxidant is 4,4'-thiobi(2-methyl-6-t-butyl phenol) or 1,1,3-tri(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-butyl phenyl) butane; and the light stabilizer is at least one of bi(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidine) sebacate and 1-methyl-8-(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidine). The methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl diluent has the advantages of making resistance to oxidation and light stability of the product greatly improved, and greatly improving storage, transportation and use conditions of the product due to great reduction of the solidifying point of the diluent.
