Abstract

A service implementation method of an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem network comprises the following steps after user equipment (UE) in the roaming state registers successfully in a visitor subscriber server (VSS) of the local IMS network through the proxy call session control function (P-CSCF) and the serving call session control function (S-CSCF) of the local IMS network: the UE sends a session invitation message to the P-CSCF and the P-CSCF sends the session invitation message to the S-CSCF; the S-CSCF sends the session invitation message to the localized IMS application server (LI AS) of the local IMS network for calling control according to the initial filter criteria (iFC) of the calling event; the LI AS carries out calling control according to the locally stored user data of the UE and routes the session corresponding to the session invitation message to the called party through the S-CSCF and the media gateway control function (MGCF) of the local IMS network after completing calling control; and after receiving the ringing message and the response message which are sent by the called party, the S-CSCF sends the messages to the UE to complete establishment of the IMS session service.
