Abstract

The invention discloses a pinhole-like transient weak illuminometer, belonging to the field of optical testing and measuring. The illuminometer comprises a conjugated lens, a pinhole diaphragm, a weak light counting head which is provided with an impulse type photomultiplier, a photon counting system and a computer which is provided with an illumination measuring software package. The conjugated lens is used for imaging a light beam of a weak light source of a facula which is demarcated at phi 0.2mm or a small facula to be tested at the center of the pinhole diaphragm; the weak light countinghead is used for detecting the pinhole pinhole imaging and converting the pinhole imaging into an electric impulse signal; the photon counting system is used for identifying and processing the electric impulse signal and outputting the impulse count which corresponds to the sampling period thereof to the computer; and the computer is used for processing the impulse count to obtain an illuminationcurve which is changed along with the time and a mean illumination value within the measuring time. The illuminometer solves the problem of the direct and exact demarcation of the facula phi 0.2mm and the illumination value 1.08*10<-4>1x on the cathode surface of a micro light image intensifier, can realize the illumination measuring function of the stable or the transient week light source of the large facula and the small facula, and has wide application prospect.
