Abstract

A precoding method includes: broadcasting a public threshold for signal-to-noise ratio reception of a multicast broadcast service (MBS); receiving codebook-based channel status information fed back via the public feedback control channel by MBS users whose original signal-to-noise ratio is lower than the public threshold; according to the channel status information fed back, constructing precoding vectors which maximize the minimum signal-to-noise ratio reception of MBS users. The present method improves performance for users with worst channel quality without incurring excessive loss of performance for other users, and enhances the frequency spectrum efficiency and the coverage of MBS.
