Abstract

A method, system and click-to-dial (CTD) application server for implementing call transfer in a CTD service are provided. The first and second terminals of a three party call are in a call status, and the third terminal is on hold. The method involves transmitting a call transfer request to a CTD application server by the first terminal via a CTD Web server. A media resource server is controlled by the CTD application server to play a call transfer prompt tone to the second and third terminals after the CTD application server receives the call transfer request, and then the CTD application server controls a medium resource server to release the call transfer prompt tone played to the second and third terminals after the second and third terminals are bridged.
