Abstract

Disclosed are a method and a system for providing IMS service and call assistant service to GMS network users simultaneously. One method comprises six operation steps as follows: service starting, called number translation, IMS region call proceeding, CS region call disconnection, called terminal delay paging and starting reminding after completing register. The other method includes steps that when registering, call forwarding default identifiers are arranged at HLR of associated users via a BOSS system, uniform call routing number is arranged in the identifiers to be used for transferring call to a call assistant platform on a set condition, and then five operation steps including service starting, IMS region call proceeding, call assistant platform trigger, called terminal starting detection and starting reminding are executed. The method and the system realize service communication of CS region and IMS region, bring convenience for users, and provide the simplest fine technique ofdeploying IMS value added service and call assistant value added application with low cost.
