Embodiment Construction

[0044] The above-mentioned DC / DC conversion circuit 200 belongs to the prior art and will not be repeated here. The connection relationship and working process of the circuit elements in the input current average value limiting circuit 201 of the present invention will be described in detail below.

[0045] The input current average limiting circuit 201 includes a lossless current sampling circuit 202 , a current-voltage conversion circuit 203 and an average current adjustment circuit 204 .

[0046] The lossless current sampling circuit 202 is composed of a mirror switching device (i.e. mirror transistor 22) of the same type as the switching device (i.e. transistor 21). In this embodiment, a MOSFET transistor is selected to flow through both the transistor 21 and the mirror transistor 22. The ratio relationship of the current is N:1, generally speaking, N is greater than 10, so the current of the mirror transistor 22 is at least 90% smaller than the current flowing through the...

Abstract

The invention relates to a power adjustor which comprises a switch device, a control circuit, an output filter circuit and an input current average value limiting circuit, wherein the input current average value limiting circuit comprises a lossless current sampling circuit, a current-voltage switching circuit and an average current adjusting circuit; the lossless current sampling circuit is usedfor sampling instantaneous current flowing through the switch device without loss to obtain input sampling current; the current-voltage switching circuit is used for carrying out average value operation on the input sampling current to obtain an input current average value and switching the input current average value into a first voltage signal; the average current adjusting circuit is used for receiving the first voltage signal and a first reference signal, carrying out comparison processing on the first voltage signal and the first reference signal and outputting a processing result to thecontrol circuit to control actions of the switch device, thereby limiting the average value of input current. The invention can realize the limit of the power lossless input current average value andthe current-limiting protection effect on an input source.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a power conditioner, in particular to a power conditioner with an input current average value limiting circuit without power loss. Background technique [0002] Power conditioners, such as DC-DC converters, are used to provide a stable voltage source for various electrical systems. High-efficiency DC-DC converters are especially needed for battery management in low-power devices (such as laptops, cell phones, chargers, etc.). The switching power regulator converts the input DC voltage into a high-frequency voltage, filters the high-frequency output voltage and then converts it into a DC output voltage. Specifically, a power conditioner usually includes a switching device, an output filter, and a controller. The switching device is alternately connected and disconnected from an input DC voltage source (such as a battery) to supply power to a load (such as an integrated circuit) . The output filter is connected between the inp...
