Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine for treating uraemia, which is prepared from the following two groups of raw medicines, wherein the first group contains codonopsis pilosula, rhizoma atractylodis, angelica sinensis, liquorice, asarum, fructus gleditsiae, rhizoma galangae, monkshood, radix aconite, rhizoma arisaematis, rhizoma sparganii, curcuma zedoary, mangnolia officinalis, rhizoma zingiberis, rhizoma galangae, desertliving cistanche, radix curcumae, rheum officinale and mirabilite; and the second group contains pilose antler, cassia bark, ephedra herb, baked ginger, rehmannia glutinosa, sinapis semina, liquorice, aconite, areca-nut, asarum, cassia twig, rhizoma alismatis, rhizoma atractylodis and poria cocos. The two groups of medicines are alternately taken in even and odd days; and the traditional Chinese medicine is utilized to totally treat 30 uraemia patients with the cure rate of 83.3 percent and the effective rate of 100 percent.
