The load measuring method comprises the following steps: receiving a measurement request message which is sent by an adjacent area evolution base station and comprises more than two sets of load measurement parameters; performing measurement configuration according to the more than two sets of the load measurement parameters so as to determine the load measurement state; and sending a response message to the adjacent area evolution base station, wherein the response message carries the load measurement state.
