Abstract

The invention discloses a method for using an actualcautery to induce to produce linaloe on aquilaria sinensis trees artificially cultivated or wild aquilaria sinensis trees. The method comprises the following steps of: using red-hot iron drill bit to drill on the aquilaria sinensis trunk with more than five years, burning and scalding plant cells around the drill hole, activating defensive reaction of the aquilaria sinensis trunk, inducing to produce medicinal secondary metabolites, namely linaloe; after 3 to 12 months and the trunk is inosculated with the linaloe, cutting brownish-black eaglewood formed near the drilling hole, drying, crushing, then using alcohol to extract and obtaining the linaloe oil. The method for using the actualcautery to induce aquilaria sinensis to produce linaloe has simple technique, convenient operation and obvious inducing effect, can greatly shorten the production period of the linaloe, is applicable to large-scale standardization and commercialization production, provides a new effective path for protecting, developing and utilizing the aquilaria sinensis tree resources and has important economical, social and ecological benefits.
