The herbal air disinfectant for controlling avian influenza is prepared from the following materials in weight ratio: 1-10 parts of Hypericum perforatum, 1-10 parts of Scutellaria baicalensis, 1-10 parts of Isatis indigotica root, 1-10 parts of Lonicera japonica flower, 1-10 parts of Pogostemon cablin and 1-10 parts of Eupatorium fortunei. The air disinfectant is produced by the following steps: mixing the above herbal materials, decocting in water for 1-3 times (boiling for 2-3 hours for each time), collecting volatile oils and decoctions, mixing the decoctions, standing overnight, collecting supernatant, filtering, concentrating, precipitating with ethanol, removing ethanol, diluting with water, stirring, standing, collecting supernatant, filtering, adding the volatile oils, adjusting the concentration of drug liquid to 4-10% of the raw materials, stirring and packaging.
