Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for selecting bus for an optical synchronous digital transmission system, wherein the bus selection method includes the following steps: S202, detection at least two crossing units, and/or overhead bus of at least two crossing units, and/or business bus station of at least two crossing units; and S204, performing selection on the overhead bus and business bus of at least two crossing units according to the detection result. In a system which adopts crossing single board 1+1 backup, the invention can overcome the shortcomings of single selection mode for independently selecting the overhead bus and business bus via a business processing unit and solve the problems caused by non-uniform switchover state.
