The invention is a windband-based home IPTV video-on-demand (VOD) wireless multichannel transmitting system, belonging to the field of electronic information technique, comprising: computer, video transmitting server end, client end data box, TV sets, and remote controllers, where the computer processes request of each terminal remote controller, and according to the request, searches media in network or itself, and then decodes and compresses the media into united digital audio-video data stream; the video transmitting server end modulates the data from the computer and wirelessly sends the modulated data to the client end data box and wirelessly receives request information from the client end data box and send the request information to the computer for processing; the client end data box demodulates the video data coming from the video transmitting server end into analog video signals for the TV set and receives signal from the remote controller and wirelessly modulates the signal to send to the video transmitting server end.
