The invention provides a pillow and method for detecting the
head position through Hall sensing devices. The pillow comprises a pillow inner and a plurality of Hall sensing assemblies and a controller which are arranged in the pillow inner; each Hall sensing
assembly comprises a Hall sensor and a
magnet which are correspondingly arranged in the same vertical direction, an elastic separation distance is formed between each Hall sensor and the corresponding
magnet and changes under the head
pressure action, the Hall sensors are connected with the controller, and the controller detects the
head position according to the output analog quantity of the Hall sensors. According to the pillow, the sensing mode that the Hall sensors are adopted to cooperate with the magnets is sensitive and accurate, the heads of users with the different weights all can enable the elastic separation distances to change, and the Hall sensors can sense changes of the
magnetic field intensity. Accordingly, the problem that the detection accuracy is influenced by the different weights of the users is solved, and the advantages of being capable of being applied to the users with the different weights, accurate in detection and wide in applicability are achieved.
