Problems solved by technology

Therefore, content services built for mobile terminals cannot be received through conventional personal computers
[0012] In addition, on the server that provides content services, there is still the inconvenience that the content for mobile terminals needs to be constructed separately from the content for ordinary personal computers, and these contents cannot be shared.

Embodiment 1

[0032] figure 1 It is a schematic conceptual diagram of a computer network system showing an embodiment of the present invention. In the following embodiments, "i-mode service" provided by NTT Docomo as an Internet service provided by a carrier such as a mobile phone company is given by way of example, but it is not restrictive. For example, the present invention can be applied to services such as "J-sky" provided by J-phone group, or "EZ web" service provided by DDI group. Moreover, it should also be understood that the present invention can be applied to some similar services that are expected to be provided in the future. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the present invention can be applied not only to mobile phone terminals but also to those services provided using unique terminal IDs. An example is given below in which the present invention is applied to the i-mode service provided by NTTDonomo.

Embodiment 2

[0070] The following description will focus on an example of using the system described in Example 1 to conduct a batch stress test of an i-mode website. Figure 5 is a flowchart showing an example of measuring the performance of a computer system according to another embodiment of the present invention. and image 3 similar to Figure 5 Among them, the processing of the personal computer 5 or 9 (test tool PC) is shown in the left part, the processing of the proxy server 4 (simulation server) is shown in the middle part of the figure, and the processing of the i-mode Web server 3 (i-mode server) Treatment is shown in the right part of the figure.

[0071] After the process starts, detect the network path in the test tool PC (step 20), set the proxy server (step 21), and execute the initialization process in the simulation server (step 24), which is similar to the first embodiment.

[0072]In the test tool PC (personal computer 5, 9), after step 21, the general test tool is ...

Abstract

To provide a technique for connection from a conventional personal computer having no terminal ID to a service site for mobile phone terminals. A simulation server (4) is set as the proxy server for a personal computer (5 or 9). In the proxy server (simulation server 4), terminal ID's suitable for the format are generated, and a cookie is generated for each personal computer or session. And, the terminal ID's and cookies are related and stored as a hash table 10. In the proxy server (4), a terminal ID is appended to a request from the personal computer (5 or 9), and the request is transferred to an i-mode server (3) along with the terminal ID.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a computer network system, a computer system, a method for communicating between computer systems, and a method for measuring the performance of the computer system. In particular, the present invention is effectively applied to a technique enabling a conventional personal computer to access a website serving a request from a mobile phone terminal or the like together with a terminal ID. Background technique [0002] Diversification of network technologies has enabled mobile phone terminals, such as i-mode cellular phones, to access the Internet. For example, for an i-mode mobile terminal, after being connected to a packet communication network operated by a certain carrier (an enterprise, such as NTT), it may pass through a gateway (for this i-mode, called an i-mode center ) to connect to the Internet. [0003] In the gateway, the protocols used by the Internet are converted to the protocols used within the packet communicat...
