Abstract

The method includes steps: at time of system initialization, based on ONU (optical network unit) MAC address obtained from procedure of multiple points control protocol, building unauthorized ONU MAC address list in OLT (optical line terminal) and reporting it to network manager; network manager carried out authorization for unauthorized ONU reported from OLT single disk; MAC address of unauthorized ONU is transferred to serial number mapped list of authorized ONU to build ONU serial number map list; network managing system distributes the serial number map list down to OLT. The disclosed OLT single disk capable of automatic reporting MAC address to network managing system includes a module for maintaining an unauthorized list, receiving and comparing module etc. The invention realizes functions: reporting MAC address without need of manual input, distinguishing ONU device first found from authorized ONU device, preventing network resources occupied by illegal user.
