Abstract

The invention discloses a photo ionization source capable of automatically tuning signal intensity for a mass spectrum analyzer. The photo ionization source comprises a photo ionization source and a signal automatic tuning system, the photoionization source comprises a vacuum ultraviolet light source, an ion source cavity, a sample introduction pipeline, an ion repulsion electrode, an ion transmission electrode group and a small hole electrode; the signal automatic tuning system comprises a light source power supply, a computer, an optical signal sensor and an AD converter. The vacuum ultraviolet light source and the optical signal sensor are arranged on the two sides of the ion source cavity respectively and are coaxially arranged, so that light emitted by the vacuum ultraviolet light source can reach the optical signal sensor conveniently. The signal intensity of the photo ionization source is linearly related to the light intensity of the vacuum ultraviolet light source, so that the automatic correction of the mass spectrum signal intensity can be realized by tuning the light intensity in real time. The method can solve the attenuation problem of the photo ionization mass spectrometer in long-term use, and has a wide application prospect in the technical field of in-situ online mass spectrometry.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of mass spectrometers, in particular to a photoionization source for mass spectrometry analysis that can automatically tune signal intensity. Background technique [0002] The ionization source is the core of the mass spectrometer. It is used to convert neutral molecules into ions. It is the primary link in mass spectrometry analysis. It is related to the sensitivity, analytical range, stability and accuracy of the entire mass spectrometer system. Among them, photoionization (PI) is a process in which sample molecules lose electrons by absorbing photons, so that the energy reaches or exceeds its own ionization energy. Under normal circumstances, the photon energy absorbed by the molecule is greater than the ionization energy threshold and less than the dissociation energy threshold, so there are few product fragments, and most of them are molecular ions. Therefore, photoionization mass spectrometry technolo...
