The method comprises the following steps: constructing a machine learning model by taking a human lung function index as a dependent variable and human form phenotype data as an independent variable; training the machine learning model to enable the value of the human lung function index predicted by the machine learning model to be as close as possible to a true value, and then determining model parameters to obtain a lung function index prediction model; inputting the human body form phenotype data of a new user to be tested into the lung function index prediction model to calculate lung function indexes, integrating and analyzing a plurality of predicted lung function indexes, and evaluating the lung health state of the new user to be tested. The method has the advantages that extra operations such as inspiration and expiration and wearing of a gas flow meter are not needed, the lung function of a person can be measured by fully utilizing the phenotypic characteristics of the human body shape, use is more convenient, and the cost is lower.
