Abstract

The invention discloses a special effect formula for treating arthritis. The formula includes, by weight, 1 g of cefoxitin sodium for injection, 10 mg of dexamethasone injection, 2 ml of methycobal injection (or vitamin B12 injection), 3 ml of lidocaine and 3 ml of normal saline (or 5% of glucose injection). An application method of the formula is also disclosed. The application method includes the following steps: S1, dissolving the cefoxitin sodium for injection with the normal saline (or 5% of glucose injection); S2, extracting the mixture with a 10 ml injection syringe, and adding the methycobal injection (or vitamin B12 injection) and lidocaine; S3, selecting the affected limb, and maintaining the knee in a 90 degree sitting position; S4, after disinfecting the skin of the affected limb, inserting the injection syringe into the knee eye which is a traditional Chinese medicine acupoint in a splay-footed shape for 3-3.5 cm, and injecting 3 ml of the medicine liquid; S5, injecting 3 ml of the medicine liquid on the opposite side of the affected limb; and S6, repeating injection every three days, three injections being a course of treatment.
