Abstract

The invention provides a polishing device for surface treatment of core rods of electric porcelain insulators. The polishing device comprises a polishing assembly arranged in a machine body and a rotating assembly, and one end of the rotating assembly is in transmission connection with a second motor, arranged on the outer wall of the machine body, through a driven rod. The other end of a rotating body is movably connected with a fixed base, arranged on the inner wall of the machine body, through a connecting base so that the second motor can drive the rotating assembly to rotate in the axis direction of the rotating assembly. The rotating assembly comprises the rotating body and installation bases, the transmission rod is arranged in the rotating body, a first meshing disc is arranged at one end of the transmission rod, and the other end of the transmission rod is in transmission connection with a first motor. A second meshing disc is arranged at the end, extending into the rotating body, of each installation base, and the second meshing discs are connected with the first meshing disc in a meshing mode. When a worker needs to conduct polishing, multiple insulator core rods can be installed and polished at the same time, and the problem that the polishing efficiency is reduced due to the fact that the to-be-polished insulator core rods need to be replaced repeatedly is solved.
