Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method for calibrating the maximum gray equivalent substitution range of metamerism. The method comprises the steps of converting a CMYK image source into an RGB image source; determining channel data of each color in the CMYK image source and the RGB image source; generating full-sample data according to the extracted channel data of each color; performing sparse processing on the full sample data to obtain sparse sample data; extracting metamerism data from the sparse sample data, carrying out gray equivalent substitution algorithm processing on discrete distribution points in the metamerism data, and then carrying out dynamic fitting on the discrete distribution points and the extracted metamerism data to obtain a space fitting curve; and performing error detection on the space fitting curve to calibrate the maximum gray equivalent substitution range of the metamerism data.
