Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for improving the driving safety of an electric motorcycle. The method comprises the steps that double MCUs, a master MCU and a slave MCU are included, and the two MCUs communicate with each other for real-time data and monitor the running state mutually; a contactor is arranged on a motor phase line, a signal is led out from the MCU and connected to the contactor, and the contactor is controlled to be connected or disconnected; and when the motorcycle runs at a high speed, once the master MCU breaks down, the slave MCU can immediately control the contactor to be disconnected, and thus the phase line of the motor is disconnected. According to the method and system, the two MCUs are included, the slave MCU is added on the basis of the main MCU for cooperation, the slave MCU is mainly used for independently monitoring the running state of the main MCU and the running state of the whole vehicle, and once a fault is detected, different processing modes are made according to the severity level of the fault; during high-speed operation, once a fault endangering driving safety occurs, phase line connection between the contactor and the motor can be immediately disconnected, a phase current loop is thoroughly disconnected, and braking torque cannot be generated.
