Problems solved by technology

[0006] A configuration of this type with a separate helical spring as the restoring spring, wherein the helical spring is additionally also slipped onto the axis of the shaped carrier, has disadvantages with regard to the permanent and reliable position of the restoring spring
As a result, disadvantages can also arise with regard to the action of the return spring, which either produces its return force with tolerances or, if necessary, undesirably due to the positioning on the shaped carrier itself. spin with it

Embodiment Construction

[0061] exist figure 1 A domestic refrigeration appliance 1 is shown in an exemplary illustration in . The domestic refrigeration appliance 1 is here a combined refrigerator-freezer. The domestic refrigeration appliance 1 has a housing 2 . Here, by way of example, two separate doors 3 a and 3 b are pivotably arranged on the housing 2 . An inner container 5 is arranged in the housing 2 . The inner container 5 delimits with its walls a first receiving space 4 , which here is a refrigerated space. Furthermore, the inner container 5 can also delimit a second receiving space 6 separate from this first receiving space 4 , said second receiving space 6 being here a freezer space. The second receiving space 6 is preferably delimited by a further inner container 7 (or its walls). The receiving space 4 on the one hand and the receiving space 6 on the other hand can be closed independently of each other on the front side by doors 3 a and 3 b.

Abstract

The invention relates to an ice maker (10) for a household refrigeration appliance (1). The ice maker (10) comprises a rack (18) having a front wall (21), an ice tray housing (19) and an actuating handle (32) separate therefrom, and the actuating handle (32) is rotatably mounted on the front wall (21) and is coupled to the ice tray housing (19), and transmits the rotational movement to the ice tray housing (19), so that at least the ice tray housing (19) rotates. The ice maker (10) comprises an individual return spring (18), so that the ice tray housing (19) returns from a torsion position toan initial position. The individual return spring (18) is mounted on the front wall (21) and is coupled to the actuating handle (32), and the return spring (28) is pretensioned when the actuating handle (32) is rotated out of the initial position, thereby creating a return force of the return spring (28). By the return force, the actuating handle (32) can be moved back into the initial position. The invention relates to the household refrigeration appliance (1). The invention also relates to a related method.

Description

technical field [0001] One aspect of the present invention relates to an ice maker for a domestic refrigeration appliance. The ice maker has a frame with a front wall or front partition. The frame also has an ice tray. Additionally, the rack has operating handles that are separate from the front wall and from the ice tray housing. The actuating handle is mounted rotatably on the front wall and is coupled to the ice support shell in order to transmit a rotational movement to the ice support shell, in order thereby to rotate at least the ice support shell. A further aspect of the invention relates to a domestic refrigeration appliance having such an ice maker. Furthermore, a further aspect of the invention also relates to a method for inserting a housing of an ice maker into a housing of the ice maker. Background technique [0002] Ice makers for domestic refrigeration appliances are known in a wide variety of designs. Ice forming elements such as small ice cubes can be p...
