Benefits of technology

This method helps identify compounds that can be used effectively without being discovered through chemical reactions or other means like X-ray diffraction techniques. It does this by comparing various types of organisms found naturally during their life cycles (metabolites) against each other's biomarkers. By doing these comparisons we aim to discover new ones more efficiently than previous ways such as identifying specific enzymes involved in certain processes.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to studying how plants from various sources accumulate valuable compounds called quaternary amines or phytate polysaccharides during periods where pests feed themselves. However, current natural selection techniques cannot efficiently isolate these useful components because some species may lack specific enzyme activities needed for optimal growth conditions while others require expensive chemical reagents.

Embodiment Construction

[0034] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0035] refer to figure 1 , a method for screening high medicinally active ingredients saponin ecotypes based on metabolome differences, comprising the following steps:

[0036] Step 1, sample collection and processing, collect ETL eco-type samples from Ertala, Gonghe County, Qinghai Province (36°11′39.48″ north latitude, 100°31′28.26″ east longitude, 2917m). CC ecological samples were collected from Changcheng Township, Gansu Province (37°54′10.98″ north latitude, 102°54′4.2″ east longitude, 1530m) at the southern edge of the Tengger Desert. The samples of the two varieties were collected with 80% mature seeds on the ear of Sapona, and fresh leaves, stems and ears were collected from three plants collected in each ecotype, frozen in liquid nitrogen immediately, and brought back to the experiment room, brought back to the laboratory ...

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of agriophyllum squarrosum variety screening, and in particular, relates to a method for screening agriophyllum squarrosum ecotype with high medicinal active ingredients based on metabolome difference, wherein the method comprises the steps: collecting ETL ecotype and CC ecotype leaves, ears and stems of two high-altitude wild agriophyllum squarrosum samples, and studying the metabolome rule of the leaves, ears and stems, wherein 18 samples are used; 506 metabolites are detected based on a wide targeted metabolome technology platform, and 244 metabolites are known metabolites. Metabolome differences among the leaves, ears and stems of the agriophyllum squarrosum planted in different areas are studied respectively by adopting a means of combininga UPLC MS/MS detection platform, a self-built database and multivariate statistical analysis; it is found that the content of medicinal active ingredients, especially flavonoid substances, of the ETLecotype overground part growing at a high altitude is remarkably higher than that of CC ecotype medicinal active ingredients. Through difference analysis of metabolites among different ecotypes, theagriophyllum squarrosum ecotype with the high medicinal active ingredients is screened out, and advantageous class groups and varieties are provided for de novo domestication of crops.
