The invention provides a noninvasive, effectiveand reliable serum marker for identifying benign and malignant thyroid nodules, so that the influence of invasive surgery on the body and mind of a patient is avoided, and meanwhile, the detection speed and accuracy are improved. According to the invention, nervonic acid SM (d18: 2 / 24: 1) is used as a biomarker of thyroid malignant tumors, and the detection of the metabonomics can be carried outthrough blood; secondly, the metabonomics can detect small molecular metabolites, and the possible change of thyroid malignant tumors can be well illustrated; and finally, the clinical mastering of the diagnosis and treatment conditions of diseases can be well guided through the discovery of nervonic acid.
