Abstract

The vibration suppression device comprises an upper vibration suppression roll, an upper transverse movement mechanism, a lower vibration suppression roll, a lower transverse movement mechanism, an upper laser range finder, a lower laser range finder, an encoder and a PLC control system. The laser range finders are used for feeding back the surface position of the strip steel in real time. The PLC control system is used for carrying out difference calculation on the actual measured distance of the laser range finders and the set distance to determine the actual vibration amplitude of the strip steel. When the vibration amplitude of the strip steel exceeds aset threshold value, the transverse movement mechanisms drive the vibration suppression rolls to get close to the strip steel to suppress the vibration amplitude of the strip steel and limit the vibration amplitude within the set threshold value. The encoder is used for feeding the running speed of the strip steel in real time and controlling the rotating speed of the vibration suppression rollsto ensure that linear speed of the roll surfaces of the vibration suppression rolls is in line with the running speed of the strip steel and protect the surface of the strip steel against scratches. The vibration suppression device remarkably reduces the vibration amplitude of the strip steel, ensures the thickness uniformity of a galvanized layer of the strip steel, protects the surface of the strip steel against scratches and meets the requirements for production of high-quality galvanized strip steel.
