Abstract

The invention discloses a method and assembly for turning over a large bar under the working condition of a single gantry crane. The assembly comprises a carrying pole, wherein at least one pair of upper lifting lugs are symmetrically installed at the upper part of the carrying pole and connected with a gantry crane main hook separately; at least one pair of lower lifting lugs are installed at thelower part of the carrying pole and connected with a pair of fixed pulleys respectively; and the upper lifting lugs at the upper part of the carrying pole are connected with the gantry crane main hook through U-shaped clamps and a first steel wire rope. The assembly further comprises second steel wire ropes and a gantry crane secondary hook, the second steel wire ropes are connected with the corresponding fixed pulleys by bypassing the bar to be turned over, and the gantry crane secondary hook is used for being connected with the bar through lifting lugs at the corners of the bar. According to the method and the assembly, the danger coefficient is effectively reduced, turnover is steady and reliable, and the efficiency of on-site construction is greatly improved.
