Abstract

The depth information determination method comprises the steps of determining M depth information images based on a two-dimensional image, wherein M is an integer greater than or equal to 2; determining point cloud data corresponding to the two-dimensional image, thepoint cloud data including a first depth information set, and the point cloud data being in time synchronization with the two-dimensional image; and generating a second depth information set based onthe first depth information set and the M depth information images. According to the method of the invention, the defect that the density of the first depth information set in the point cloud data isrelatively low is overcome by means of the two-dimensional image, and the high-precision depth information contained in the point cloud data is fully utilized, so that the density and precision of the determined depth information are finally improved.
