Rapid evaluation method suitable for performance of pebble mother rock of machine-made aggregate

An evaluation method, the technology of pebbles, is applied in the preparation of test samples, the use of stable tension/pressure to test the strength of materials, and the use of sound waves/ultrasonic waves/infrasonic waves for material analysis. Long-term problems, to achieve the effect of easy acquisition, less test parameters and high accuracy

AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows researchers to evaluate how well two types of stones have been made from them - one being larger than another type called chisel stone (C) while still having good compression properties. It also includes various techniques like exploring its surface under specific conditions such as water level changes over time during drilling operations. These technical features make these tests faster and easier compared against previous methods used by scientists who had trouble analyzing smaller particles found inside their own natural materials.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem: Current assessment techniques involve analyzing the properties of rocks during their production or utilization stages, making them difficult to predict its future needs because they require extensive analysis beforehand. There has been some attempts at developing quicker ways to estimate both compression strength and density levels from existing data sources like geology basins alone.

Embodiment

[0020] The test operation uses the selected pebble mother rock as the research object, and the pebbles are divided into two sizes: greater than 100mm and between 9.5mm-19mm. Using ultrasonic test and cylinder pressure method to jointly characterize, the present invention compares the tests of pebbles of different lithologies, including the following steps: 1) Sampling: Randomly select pebbles without micro-cracks. 2) Sieving: Use a sieve and a ruler to measure the particle size or particle size range of the pebbles, and select pebbles with a particle size between 9.5mm-19mm and 120mm for testing. 3) Sample test: Use the cylinder pressure method to test the pebbles with a particle size of 9.5mm-19mm, and use the crushing index to characterize; use ultrasonic waves to test the pebbles with a particle size of 120mm, the number of tests is 6 times, and use the longitudinal wave velocity to characterize. 4) Result analysis and evaluation: According to the calculated test results of...

Abstract

The invention relates to a rapid evaluation method suitable for performance of pebble mother rock of machine-made aggregate. The method comprises the following steps: 1) sampling: randomly selecting representative pebbles; 2) screening: screening the primary pebbles to obtain the particle size distribution of the pebbles; 3) selecting a pebble sample with a specific particle size for testing, ultrasonically testing the pebble sample with the particle size of more than 100mm, and testing the pebble sample with the particle size of 9.5-19mm by adopting a cylinder pressure method; and 4) result analysis and evaluation: analyzing the performance of the pebbles according to a test result so as to evaluate the mother rock performance of the pebbles. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages of simplicity, accuracy, advancement, quickness, field application and the like.
